Is the Do-It-All Candle scented?
The Do-it-All Candle comes in unscented versions only. However you can add our essential oils or fragrance oils as per your convenience. You can even change the oil added everytime you use it, effectively giving it a new aroma each time.
How do I add scents to my candle?
To add scents to your do-it-all candle, just add a few drops of our essential oils or fragrance oils near the wick BEFORE lighting it, giving you a mild to medium aroma.
What type of containers can I use?
Fireproof containers are recommended, but you can also use other containers safely as long as they are sufficiently large. The main goal is to ensure the melt pool doesn’t reach the edge of the container and that the container doesn’t overheat while burning.
Generally, a minimum width of 4 inches is suggested for a single wick, but be sure to test it carefully to ensure the container remains cool and safe while in use.
Do I have to use a new wick every time?
No, you can reuse the same wick multiple times until it burns out, with each wick lasting about 12 hours. We include five wicks with every 150 grams of The Do-It-All Candle, so you can refresh your candle as often as needed to keep it looking new.
Additionally, you can trim the wick and use the remaining part or flip it to bury the melt pool, which helps reduce waste and maintain a fresh appearance. Just remember that trimming the wick may shorten the overall burn time.
My wick extinguishes quickly — what might be the issue?
The most common reason for a wick burning out prematurely is having the wick tip too long.
When inserting the wick, ensure that only about a cm of the tip is exposed above the pearls, just enough to light it. If the wick sticks out further, it can shorten the burn time.
Can I use the Do-It-all candle as a floating candles?
Yes,the Mai Pearls of the Do-it-all candledfloat on water! For best results, pour a minimum 5cm layer of Mai Pearls on top of the water, ensuring that the wick's bottom doesn't touch the water
Can I resuse the Mai Pearls of the Do-It-All candle after I use them as floating candles?
Yes, you can! Simply scoop out the pearls with a spoon or use a fine-meshed strainer to collect them. Let them air dry on paper towels before reusing. Spreading them out will help them dry more quickly
Is The Do-It-All Candle safe to use?
Yes, The Do-It-All Candle is safe. The Mai Pearls of the candle are made from soy wax, which burns cleanly with minimal smoke or soot and contains no paraffin or known allergens. Our scents are also free from parabens and phthalates.
Additionally, If the do-it-all candle is accidentally spilled, the mai pearls will automatically extinguish the flame. If kept burning for too long, the wick will eventually topple over and be submerged in the melt pool, self extinguishing the flame.
